Physician Documentation |
|
|
Physician documentation might be the single most important aspect of any
Emergency Physician practice. Without appropriate documentation, compliance and
revenue maximization can be complromised. A properly documented physician record
is more likely to be coded and billed correctly. Consequently, properly
documented records allow the physician to maximize revenues by enabling their
charts to be coded for the services provided. |
|
Many Emergency Physician records are coded at a lower level of service than that
actually provided due to incomplete documentation. In our industry, we call
these charts "downcoded". More appropriately, these charts are lost revenue that
will never be recovered. The time necessary to properly document a record is
minimal. Let CMBS train your staff to properly document all records such that
com;iance is 100% and revenues are maximized. Our staff of experts can review
your current documentation and train your staff in a matter of hours. Our
typical documentation training lecture is sixty to ninety minutes. The results
of this session can be as great as 50% greater revenues while increasing your
compliance. |

Our staff has developed models to enhance the learning while empowering the
